Thanks everyone. It really feels good to own the Safari.

It was ~ 20 KM drive (Showroom to Home) for me with a thick, bumper-bumper traffic. I didn't feel much of a difference in terms of handling/maneuvering as compared to my previous (still existing/loving) Indigo Marina except the corner of my heart had some fast beats due to the "NEW" tag attached

My initial review/experience will take a day or 2. I am planning to go on a 70 KM trip this Saturday and hopefully, I should be able to judge better in that.

Photos should be up by tomorrow morning, all taken in bright/proper sun-light.
Thanks for waiting.

Prem.

Attaching photos as I dont see a way of "Editing" my first (opening) message of this thread. Let me know how to do that please.

I will upload better photos tomorrow morning - both interior & exterior.

Prem.

Congrats! Welcome to the club.

Would suggest that you get the stock tyres exchanged and get better ones.

More pics of good quality

Dealership experience, a kind of story.
I booked my Safari on Jan 21, 2010 and was promised delivery around Feb 15, 2010. I was OK with the waiting period since it had to be manufactured (2010 model) with my requirement of VX 4X4, Cycus Grey.
During my booking, I was promised of 14L OTR in Bangalore that includes a 20K discount. Fair enough to me.
One grey area was None in Concorde Motors were sure of how its going to be - 2010 face-lift or 2010 (no face-lift) variant ! That ultimately resulted in an increase in price of 47K onto me when I got a call from Concorde that the vehicle is ready in plant and has been invoiced to the dealer. This happened on Jan 29, 2010 and I was promised of earlier delivery, around Feb 7/8, 2010. Of course, I was too happy then
I slept a little while then and I started my discussions only on Feb 8 to ask about the vehicle delivery/status.
Surprise !!! Vehicle hasnt left the plant at all. Wow !!! A nice feeling then. A slight BP, but was well under the control and I started off with the branch manager Mr. Hemanth. Feb 10, 2010, A super surprise - No answer and none knows where the vehicle is. May be, they lost the vehicle of 2+ TONS in the plant itself ?
I was then given the contact of Tata Motors Regional Manager & the UV segment, Product Manager. One eMail to them - I used all my professional experience that I gained over 10 years in a MNC and some instances, I was proved to go beyond since I am dealing with Tata Motors !
Kept myself cool and that one eMail kicked off the process and they were able to find the ship the car around Feb 13, 2010.
A real surprise - Vehicle reached Bangalore on Feb 17, 2010 - PDI done and ready for delivery on Feb 18, 2010 (y'day).
I had to spend the whole day with Concorde Motors. But, it was a real good experience there. All the higher officials from CM and TM personally & over phone wished me good luck and y'day, it happened to be my birthday as well !!! So, CM with their HR Lead of South Zone arranged me a Cake party in the evening.
So, very nice of them.

Congrats. The first 2010 Safari on TBhp, I guess. Good show. Wishing you miles of happiness.

Can you please post a pic of the speedo console with park-lights on, at night?

@ Bose: If you are still looking for a place to exchange your tires try Madhus Enterprises, Langford Road.
