The thread title says BSIII!

From my experience with the City, give it some more distance. When I braked for the first time in the City, I was scared!

So does that it means it is as good as in the CS or as bad as in the CS?

I think the Benz ( atleast the old ones) had something similar!

That should be 2 bulbs!

Hmm. Even Tata has not made the left side one, I think!

Already answered! It is 24 feet in diameter. The Herald could have had a similar turning circle / diameter. Among the post Maruti cars, the SIPANI Dolphin / Montana had a similar turning diameter.

The W124 does not come with the Light Switch integrated in the Single Stalk. Only High Beam is in the Stalk.

- Yes I just saw. It has to be II. It is not a III, at least as per the invoice... I created the thread with a II, did a mod change it to a III.
- I am positive that the bench comfort is as good as the CS.
- Yeah!! I am sure I didnt get the 2nd and the warning traingle... that agent is going to hear from me today. (In a bad way)
- Oops - Then I am going to ride like one-eyed-jack. Feel blind without the left mirror!!

You probably may not like it and it could / would hamper your forward vision, but you could have a clip on convex mirror which would give you a little more of your left side than the normal mirror, for the time being!

Tata would bring the left side one eventually.

Hey Santosh.... many congratulations to you and your wifey. Ur gonna love the ride. I have the exact same model in the same color but it comes in BS-III variant in delhi. Its january manufactured.

They only provide 1 spare bulb and no triangle. Already checked here. Please lemme know if it differs @ your end.

I've done 500kms till now and have provided details of the ride in my thread - NANO SINGH (Car of the decade), do check it out.

Wishing you many pleasant (s)miles with this automotive marvel.

Signed - NANO buddy

You will be surprised to know the tringle is present. This just shows the product education these salesmen get from the TATA company engineers.

Fold down the rear sear/bench. Smack in the middle of it there is a 'secret' pouch, feel the fabric with your hands, you will feel something hard...

The opening is from the left door side, pull the traingle out. It is very much there... Neat place, but very very secretive!!!

Thanks.
Yogesh - Keeping tech details in 1 thread.

All 5 Rims are of same sizes. The tyres in rear are 145 profile Vs 135 in front. The Spare/stepney is 145 BUT will fit the front also. TATA Recomends to DRIVE slowly when you have the spare in the front as you will have 1 larger Vs 1 small tyre on the front and will impact braking/steering. They also recomend to get the flat tyre fixed ASAP and put the 135 in front and 145 back into the hood ASAP.

@svsantosh
I think that you got it wrong. The stepney is 135 section i.e. the size of the front tire

Notice the unique steering rod position. nano engineers have effectively reduced 1 extra link by making a diagonal link

Tiny fabric misc item holder next to 2 front seats and 1 behind the hand brake console for rear pax.

warning triangle position!!! That plastic on the c-pillar makes a irritating rattling noise of soft plastic while going over potholes. It make be shown the door if I learn it is useless!!

there is a black box behind the rear bench

-----------------EDIT-----------------

Please read the service interval pic closely. This is absolutely a Joke to own and maintain. Hardly 6-7 liters of ALL oil/fluids run this entire car. And this has a 10,000 KM Service interval!!! Why would Maruti stick to its 5K anymore? Are they ripping us?

------------
Increasing the speed runs by the day... I managed 80 today on the GQ. Was able to briskly keep up with other 'normal' cars. Getting more confidence by the day, cant wait for a big road trip...

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for all the pictures, especially the owner's manual ones.

40000kms service would be a major service as the timing belt is also changed.

For any car, 5000kms service is only to make money for the dealer and consumable suppliers.

Honda rubs salt in the wound by insisting on an oil change (oil filter change every 10000kms) every 5000kms!

You seem to be enjoying the Nano.

My close friend is getting his Nano probably the coming Monday. His is a Champagne Gold CX BS III.

When was your car made as per the VIN number / Registration certificate?
