Wow..Nano looks supercool in yellow. Congrats again there! Cant wait for mine to get deliverd. BTW, did you pay the original price or is the new price applicable to you.

The RVM is practical and looks neat. Nice looking seat covers and good color choice. Black is my fav and I love it almost anywhere on the car.

What do you plan to do for the Left ORVM? I'd feel handicapped driving without it.
Are you looking for alloys?

Congrats. The nano looks super cute in yellow! Happy driving.

@blackasta : Yes, TATA doesn't manufacture the left OVRM for the nano.

Dont think that is the case, I just now checked the pic of Tata Nano on the Team-bhp.com cars on top of the webpage, there is a yellow Nano with a LORVM in it.

Thanks everybody. "blackasta", your suggestion of Velcro of an `off-the-shelf' stuff is good, but then that box itself is removable! What I meant was to a `glove-compartment' (rather `bonnet-compartment') which is one with the car and you can safe-keep your documents and valuables. Let me see how it works out. I will post a thread (with photos) when once my friend devises one!!

Congratulations on the Cute One!
Drive safe.
Long drive..umm, you should get used to the car dynamics first, just to be safe throughout!
If you are comfortable with the car, go ahead and have Giga fun with your Nano!

I would not feel so safe to leave the valuables in a box that's under the bonnet. Even though it has lock and key. Easier to pry open and steal, plus you have to remove the contents of the box after stopping the car and in full view of other people. You don't have the privacy of the car to protect you. Also in case the bonnet is hit by something, you run the risk of damaging this box and also its contents. My suggestion is to get rid of this idea. If at all you want a lockable box, have it placed within the car, preferably someplace near the dashboard.

Mileage in the running period is generally low. Check after the first service/oil change is done.

Take a look at it again. Check the wiper. I think it is a 'mirror' image.

Nope. That's a mirrored image. Check the original pic and the pic in question attached.

Thanks. Since I was positive that there is no left door mirror yet, I took a closer look at the image.

That is one huge error - not even providing a left door mirror. It could have been offered as an option when they were ready with alloys for the car.

Is anyone aware of any makeshift Left door mirrors for the nano? Does the spark mirror goes with it?

LHS door mirror is on the way in Nano. The other upcoming improvements are:
  • Tailgate that opens
  • Door mirrors internally adjustable
  • Increase in engine's max RPM from 5000 to 6000 to improve gradeability

and when does that come?
