Spacers for the old Thar are plenty. The best place I'd suggest to get it is from https://bluegarage.in/.

Great quality stuff.

Yes, as Dhanush said these were from bluegarage. Drove around 6k miles after installing these and I feel there is slight improvement while going over rumble strips/speed breakers - not that I recommend going over them at high speeds but the behavior is now subdued compared to earlier when there were violent shakes.
I recommend fitting these from a mechanic even though it is an easy enough job, unless you have torque wrench at home. Also worth checking LSPV system after this. Service centers would do that for you.

My main draw was looks and that it fulfills 100%. Jeep looks fabulously squat now.

Last time I got a water in fuel tank check light.

So there has to be some leakage from fuel cap to the tank. On checking the cap it "seems" snug.

Anyone faced this issue and how did you tackle it?

This weekend I'll be going and draining the diesel from the tank.
Just a quick update on this. The thinner air escape pipe from the tank had a small leak and during pressure wash the water was entering.

Folks who have it, please note that the elbow is the weak point.

Removed nearly 20ml of water from fuel filter and changed it and around 200ml of water from the fuel tank. Added high octane diesel this time as recommended by many folks to normalise octane levels.

Car is parked at my Learn Offroad training grounds. I’ll be there next on the 9th of October. If I remember then, I’ll definitely click and post.

Hi, I am from Mira Road and I know an old shop for soft tops near Don Bosco school. Maybe you should try that area.

Re: Review: 1st-gen Mahindra Thar (2011 - 2019)

Hello Folks

I want to use my Thar CRDe primarily for offroading.
Can I install 33 inch MT tyres on it ?
What modification does it need ?
What are the downsides of the set up ?

Thank you

Yes, you can use 33' MT tires on the Thar. However
- You will lose out on low-end torque. Will need a remap.
- You will have to lift your body at least 2 inches. So that the tyres doesn't foul the fenders.
- Highway manners will take a hit with more unsprung weight.
- You, however, stand to gain offroad ability.

As I will be using it primarily for off the road purpose, don't mind losing road manners a bit

What is the best way to lift the 2018 thar CRDe ?

Thanks once again

You can use PU bushings or Aluminium blocks to lift your body. Swastik Fabs in Bangalore will be providing them.
