I think there are glass bottomed boats, snorkel tours off coral reef, surfing and sailing training at Rameswaram. Did you see any leads around that.
Next question is about the un-inhabited islands such as Krusadai Island. Any leads on how can we visit them, I guess they come under marine conservation zone controlled by Fisheries department.

Regarding snorkeling and some water sports, during our drive towards Rameshwaram Light house, at Sangummal Beach we saw an establishment. But it looked very shady and we did not bother to check out. It had a board saying snorkeling etc.., but dont know the authenticity, licenses, safety aspects.

There is a note on google saying some marine national park or so, marked in blue. But have no further information on the same. Since that's almost on international water border, I doubt how the permissions would be. Do let us know if you get further info.
