Yenbodi tigress' cubs

Sorry folks for the delay in the travelogue.
Enjoy some of the pics in the meanwhile.
This is a pic showing all the 4 cubs in a frame as shot by my friend.

I have made up my mind to go back to tadoba whenever possible this summer to experience the innocence of tiger cubs. I am going back this saturday+sunday or only sunday . Anyone interested in joining me ?

I will again probably plan to go to tadoba between 2nd to 4th april (goodfriday+weekend) .

My second camera body with a new lens to shoot these cubs is on its way from the US.

Enjoy this special pic in the meanwhile.

Would Tadoba be very hot around mid April. I am planning to go - but a little wary of the heat.

Alter.ego,
Yes it would be hot as it, in April it should be around 44 degrees plus.
Plenty of liquids, cottons and suitable headgear should help you.
This is Tiger time, do go and make the best of summer as the waterholes are dry so is the foliage...excellent time for wildlife sighting and if you are really lucky you may also get to see a hunt in action or the predator by the kill.
Regards,

The Ghost of Tadoba.

Massive, Marsh Deer stag crossing our path as we were returning to the forest bungalow in a Gypsy. It was pitch dark, only a moving black silhouette made me go for the shot.
