Dude, you need to get married if you want that feature on your car - you can't just borrow somebody else's wife!
The trekking pics were good. I'll miss them then. And it's high time you start referring to your wife as your wife. Else auto enthusiasts like me would mistake it for some gizmo.

Oops!! Sorry. I thought it was some gizmo you made up.

I realised that after I posted. But, by then it was too late to edit. I have requested the mods to delete that post. Sorry again.

hehe no offense taken!

THE PYRAMID TRIP (CONCLUDING PART)

Pic 1, 2, 3 & 4: A few more sky pics - I realized after checking out some of the Team-bhp travelogues that our skies are quite beautiful. So nowadays, I walk with head towards the sky ready to capture the moments.

100,000 kms on Indian Highways, 6 treks & a Couple of Flights-img_2394.jpg

Pic 5: Sky photos taken, we headed towards the Pyramid. All visitors are welcomed with this prominently placed signboard - no wonder there were hardly anybody inside the building.

Pic 6 & 7: Approaching the structure now.

100,000 kms on Indian Highways, 6 treks & a Couple of Flights-img_2400.jpg

Pic 8: Inside the structure, there are some "embossed" (not sure if that's the word) statues like this one.

100,000 kms on Indian Highways, 6 treks & a Couple of Flights-img_2403.jpg

Pic 9: Inside the Pyramid, well, there is nothing other than a spiral staircase. The structure is so large that this is what the camera could capture, even with the flash ON. Inside the Pyramid, it was only slightly cooler than the Sahara Desert in the afternoons. So both of us ran outside after a couple of minutes.

Pic 10: Apparently, none of these gentlemen like Chicken Tikka.

100,000 kms on Indian Highways, 6 treks & a Couple of Flights-img_2412.jpg

Pic 11 & 12: Nothing else to do, we took some final shots of the Pyramid. Those two workers were in good spirits - they were singing at the top of their voices (although Pyramid is supposed to be some sort of Meditation Centre).

100,000 kms on Indian Highways, 6 treks & a Couple of Flights-img_2416.jpg

Pic 13: We were laughing at those who built this frankly pointless structure spending who knows? Rs. 10 crores? Rs. 20 crores?. We drove back home after having snacks at Vaibhavi Palace (or something like that) which is on the left hand side on the Kanakapura Road.

Cat,

Did you say you drove 18 Km beyond NICE road? Because I see in Google maps, its marked 2 Km from the NICE road junction?
Also what are other facilities? Do you have any eat-outs or one needs to carry his own food?

No way its 2 Km from NICE road junction - I recorded 18 km on my odo while their website (pyramidvalley.org contact us page) mentions 17 km. Their website also mentions that the Pyramid "collects, radiates and stores cosmic energy" - whatever that means!

There is a tiny canteen inside the campus selling soft drinks & samosas - but I recommend the "Vaibhavi Palace" which is on the Kanakapura Road (between NICE Road & the Pyramid Valley). It is a huge restaurant/hotel - you can't miss it.

Don't order French Fries though.

Apr 22nd happens to be Pallavi's birthday. Apr 23rd happens to be my birthday.

To celebrate that and our newfound freedom, we are plotting an escape already this weekend.

And it works out economical too.

I used the same "economy" logic sometime back and put forward a proposal that we celebrate on April 22nd midnight. That proposal was quickly shot down - now I'm trying to sell this concept with a different, more romantic logic.
