Awesome pics RKB. It leaves me speechless. Can not express in words. Pic 27 is simply great. The colours on the mountain are superb. Nice that you caught the plane too in your lens. I am sure more pics are coming.

@Bharat - for some reason the last set of pics from this page & previous are appearing exceptionally good compared to the ones in the beginning. Did you change the camera in between or so? BTW - did you have chance to taste/drink the water from any of those lakes ?

Amazing photos RKB. Looks like I have seen Pangong in so many angles, I actually think do I need to go there?

Will do it some time for sure.

I guess may be because of better light, and I played with Saturation a bit
Yes Pangong is salty, but as a ritual I always take a sip

The grey scale pics are beauty! After along time saw the Indian food. slurrppp..Man, do I miss the Indian food! My taste buds have got activated and am yearning for it.

Have you converted the grey scale once in photo editing or you clicked them as grey scale. Can you tell if there would be difference in both of them? Converting in software gives an advantage of keeping the original in colours.

I converted it in GIMP. I am not sure what will be the difference with in camera greyscale, I guess it will be better in in-camera greyscale

Looking at your pictures sets me thinking. Do I need to buy a new camera (I have a primitive “Canon S2IS” with a nice built in zoom but it is not an SLR) before I plan my Leh Trip.

Your pictures are amazing. You have taken special care of surroundings while clicking and it needs lot of patience.

How was your Spain trip? You should have stayed back till their world cup win. We had a meeting in Paris few weeks back and we concluded much before 3:30 PM so that our Spaniard colleagues could watch soccer. The guys were quite confident that they would win the WC. The grin on the faces of our French colleagues was to be seen. As the discussion was not about cricket, I played neutral.
