@Bolbolero,nice rims and tyres.
Hey thanks for correcting me there Akshay. However, I had been under this impression since some time now, after a friend told me that it is no more in production at one of the get-togethers in Delhi (of a different online community). Hopefully, I can fulfill my desire soon

Take care.

Let me answer this
Sumit, yokohoma Geolanders in 15" come with white lettering.
and 16" come without it.
@prakhar,it might not be available in delhi since April 2010 as it is not BS4 Compliant, everywhere else it is available.

Gosh I wish I had done my MBA, or studied harder for the entrance exams after 12th (to get into a better college & hence better pay).

By the way, would you be aware if there is anything in the offing from Mahindra as a replacement to this, post April 2010?

Thanks Akshay, appreciate the compliment.

Actually, initially I had decided on the Silver machined look, with the impression that the entire wheel would be machined. But I learnt later that the insides of a Silver machined rim are painted silver, & not machined. So, the choice was clearly the black machined finish.

Also, the hub caps are a pain. They are very delicate & one of them actually cracked during the installation. I am thinking of some way to reinforce them, mainly the flat portion towards the back, so that when the rim is removed & the cap is to be removed, it does not crack there when tapped to get it loose.

Take care.

Guys thanks for the comments.

@ Akshay thanks for clarifying to Sumit regarding the lettering.
O.T. Hows the M-Hawk doing?

Now I have to find a better cleaner for the car, if I don't want the alloys and tires to look like one of the snaps (all spotted and dirty)

@blackfire_9, nice looking alloys. Wait for some time, lots of things in the offing from Mahindra. I am also waiting!

@SuperSelect, your Swift looks grand too. Never noticed it much when i saw her on road, but with the snaps posted, must say, Killer Looks!

Hey buddy,

Thanks.

Yeah, actually, I have no option but to wait due to financial constraints. So that may just turn out to be a good thing then

Take care & drive safe.

Regards.

Vick, lovely alloys. They suit your white car perfectly. However, the bottom portion of your car seems dented/rusted? Or is it just my eyes fooling me?

Also what is 88V in your tyre specification?

88 is the load rating. V is the speed rating.

Thank you Mobike008 and yes these Alloys were actually Hand picked by my Wifey!!

Rust?? I don't think so buddy. The car is less than 2 weeks old and my guess is that its either the angle of the snap or the mud collected due to the recent outing!! :(

As Nikhil has mentioned, 88 is the Load rating of the tyre and V stands for speed rating. Technically, these tyres can handle speeds of over 250Kmph.
Good that I don't have a speedo with that kinda numbers!! hahaha
