I personally like lots of wheels from the Lenso line up and not heard of any issues with them. eCatalogDX

Sirs.....I'm planning to buy a Safari LX & would like to go for alloy wheels. I am from B'lore & would like to know if the dealers would swap the new wheels for alloys & then charge me only for an extra for the price difference??? My budget for set of 5 is only 20K:(

Advice & reference of dealers shall be appreciated.

guys, i have little different idea in my mind!

i own tata indica turbo dlx , and as you know the entire weight of the car is shifted to front, in other words, front tyres bear major chunk of weight of the car.
i was just thinking, if i can put alloy wheels on front tyres and keep steel rims on rear ones as i have noticed that front wheels take lots a pounding.

i guess this can help in better drive as well as would impart strength to rims, not to mention steering would get tad lighter too!

Sorry for the late revert....

I am in Mira Road, but drive to Andheri for work and I am getting my tubeless tyres done by tomorrow. have spoken to the dealer in andheri and he said that I should go for mag wheels as the tubelss on steel rims are not advisable.

so will try and have them done too...

I went to a shop yesterday in Karol Bagh (Delhi) and they offered lifetime warranty for Plati, League, SM and few other brands. The design were fine.
The warranty covers finish, any type of bent/crack (Not accidental) and price were also pretty fare. Around 10K for set of 4 in 13" and around 12-12K in 14". How does this deal sound?
I own a Indica V (Non Turbo), it came with 13". Can I get 14" or 175/185 in 13". I want better handling and same FE.
