As far as i have got to know.
155/65 R13 73H
155/70 R13 75H
155/80 R13 79S
165/65 R13 77H
175/70 R13 82H
185/60 R13 80H

All above tyre are in XM1 and not Energy XM1.

CD & JayD
The ENERGY Xm1 basically starts from 14" . The tyres u both have must be Michelin XM1. Check out and please confirm.
XM1 is a non-silica rubber , still the rubber is damn good, miles ahead of the competition. With silica the price will shoot up by at least 20%. Hence the Energy XM1 has silica and will cost u more also.

Hah same here.... I have 13" Michelin XM1s on my Estilo!!

btw I went with the MGA alloys (which they say are made by Aura) - very nice, but came at a high premium, but at least I have peace of mind that if anything goes wrong with my car, it's all Maruti's problem.

if you want more info on these tires please contact JKdas.

he seems to be a guy who never ever loses grip and find it to be the most comfortable santros around!

Am not at all sure about 165/65- 13 with 5.5j alloys for an Estilo.
no way go for 5j alloys if not hammer the wheel well like in the altos and 800s

hey guys,

thanks a lot for the replies.....

will change the set in the following week and post the update. currently changing footwear for M800.

Here's what i've finalised. 165/60R12 potenzas g3 with 12"x5" alloys. Couldn't find any other sport tyre in 12 although i'd have preferred 165/65-12 as mine is 97 model which originally came with cross ply tires whose size is equivalent to 145/80-12.

Please suggest if something else is also available and in which brands will i get 12" 5j alloys.

Deville,

I guess you would have got your answer by now. If not, here's my take - I've got AURA 13" alloys (Rs.18000 for a set of 5) + Michellin Tubeless tyres 155/65/R13 (Rs.13000 for a set of 5).

Since I fit the wheels and tyres in stages I could really make out the improvements in handling stage-by-stage. Whereas previously the Estillo was horribly unstable at speeds above 90 kmph, now it stays steady (excepting the bumpiness which is natural to all tall boys) even at 150 kmph !

Hi all
I am planning to upgrade the shoes on my Zen Estilo Lxi very soon.I need help from all of you ASAP.

My car comes fitted with MRF ZVTS 145/70 R13 tyres. I drive very fast usually and on the way home from our recent Kolkata meet last week,I drove more or less at 135 Kmph at 2am in the night !!

My tyres are 2900 Kms old. Yesterday I got an offer of Rs 900 each for them, that is Rs 3600 for a set of 4 ( the shop told me not to change the 5th tyre,as its not needed since am going for tubeless radials)

Now the tyres I have seen are as follows:

Michelin XM1+ - Rs 2350
Apollo Acelere - Rs 1900
Goodyear GT3 - Rs 2200

Yokohama A539s or any other Yokos dont come in below 175mm and Potenza GT3 is not available below 14", I was told. The shopowner made me see his company list of Yokos and I saw that its a fact.

Now my choice is in favour of Michelin XM1+ ( 155/65 R13 ).
the shopowner says not to go for 175mm as that may cause fouling, he said I have them and can fit them if you realy insist, but its upto you.

What do I do friends ? I need replies quickly.

Thanks
