This 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Sport Coupe, would rank high on my list of coupes in India. Primarily because it is a prewar car, dual spare wheels on the fender and dicky seater

Last seen in 2007 in a garage, one hopes that this car would have survived. Could salvage one picture and made a collage of the thumbnails to give you an idea.

This is the last of the coupes in India, I could dig up. Anyone who is aware of any other hard top coupe, please post. Remember we are not covering muscle cars in this thread.

The ex-Kutch Corvette, ca 1958 /59.

I believe GJX-1530 is the same car.

This car has the twin raised spears on the trunk lid running all the way to the bumpers (which was unique to just the 1958 model); but does not have the louvers on the bonnet top (also unique to the 1958 model). Maybe, export cars were different ?

Dear Travancore

The BW pic is of the Mah of Kutch , the picture taken on the hills is of an event by OBEROI hotels and If not mistaken Shimla Tourism . The top most post looks like a local Delhi Club meet.

All three have the and car only

Some more angles of the 41 Cadillac Coupe, with the Original Interior preserved under plastic covers put on early enough by the first owner

Is the top on this car removable ?

Happy to report another beauty. This recent import is a 1940 Series 52 Lasalle Business Coupe. Car made it its first public appearance at the recent Mumbai Rally

I particularly like the patina (presumably original paint) on this car! I wish more of our people too saw the beauty in this 'rat look' in automobiles. Including your Bangalore RTO guys during FC renewals!
Of course, fortunately (in this case), this car, as per the pre-1950 import rules, couldn't be registered anywhere in India AFAIK.

In Gautam Sen's latest book "The 101 Automotive Jewels of India" features a beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS Coupe. The paint scheme just enhances the lines on this car.

Not sure if this is the right place - please feel free to move this to the appropriate thread.

Recently saw a mid 70s LHD VW Passat 2-door Coupe gathering dust somewhere. Not sure if it has been abandoned or awaiting restoration. Was a black colored car with green stripes, green wheels and green grille.

Can be defined as a Sedanatte or Aero Coupe. This car can be identified as a 1949 Pontiac Sedannette.

If you look at the various definitions of Coupe
