Both the Lincoln and the '49 Pontiac are great looking examples of the period - American post-war to the late 40s. They bring out the massive proportions, grace and strength very well.

Here is a beautiful 1954 Chevrolet BelAir coupe from the provenance of Oel & Kaimarah Raj. Oel has the famous Frog Temple

The car remains with the family and is now being restored in Lucknow. Complete history of the car including documents of its original registration from New Jersey, US, is there with the family. Currently sports a UP number, UP31 A 9595



Above the number plate is OELANDKAIMARAHRAJ in red

Yes it is.

However what is incorrect is the registration number.

The colors are period Cadillac El Centro Green and Fair Oaks green, it appears more golden yellow in the sun and greener in the shade!

However I took the liberty of inverting the lower and upper shades. I preferred the way it looked and the larger expanse of the lighter color is easier on the driver in the Delhi heat (a learning from my my very dark blue Dearborn '34 Ford)
