D200 has a slightly longer wheelbase than D100(shown in the pic)

I think if the Americans see anything bigger then the car they call it truck!

hence all the vehicles seen in the above pic(including the van) may have been bracketed as "truck" in wikipedia.

The truck( has a passenger body, not the original one) is parked near railway station at Nagpur (probably 1958), nope just one more posted at classics for purchase.

didnt we have Police vans based on this D200 earlier? i've seen countless such police vans in movie..

I totally agree with you, have seen many of these vans which are used as Police vans in many Hindi & Marathi movies.
There used to be two such vans parked opposite to Dhanwantari Hospital in Shivaji Park area of Dadar, Mumbai which are owned by Mr.Kale who is living in nearby building which he used to give on rent to film makers & now out of these two vans, one is scrapped few years back & one was donated to Indian Film Institute, Pune. Both of these vans used to have a customized blue colored bodies.

I've seen Fargo pick-ups in similar shape as the Utiline. They were badged as F100 or so.

eBay India: 1938 Dodge Brothers Convertible Sedan Very Rare 1of 132 (item 150501135668 end time 31-Oct-2010 22:53:12 IST)

eBay India: 1972 Austin Mini Cooper 1275GT (item 150501123396 end time 31-Oct-2010 22:22:50 IST)

The Guy selling the Mini is being over optimistic on the price he wants to achieve with it.

Good condition of the car though.

The engine pictures of Dodge listed shows it is a 4 cylinder car. In fact Plymouth stopped 4 cyl. in late 1932 and moved to 6 cyl. Dodge were 6 cyl cars much earlier. Recently saw a 1928 Dodge Brothers which was also 6 cyl. So a 1938 4 cyl. Dodge seems to be rare.

This car has been seen out on some events soI am sure someone here an add more info on it.

A Dodge of that model was never made in 4 cyl form has to be a six. Maybe its had its engine replaced with something smaller at some point.

AND the price is crazy ?
