It shows damage to two police cars, BMX 3000, the 1954 Dodge of Commissioner Modak, and BML 3647, the 1955 Dodge of Deputy Commissioner Ramamurthy. Incidentally I am fortunate to own Commissioner Modak's personal 1963 Fiat. It is also interesting to see the 1940s BMX series appearing on a much later car - I assume for Govt. vehicles these VIP numbers were re-assigned, we have seen similar cases on a few other cars as well. |

It talks of women competing in motorsports events - pictured are Katie and Dariyus Bhatena in their Fiat, and Bapsy Guard in her father's Austin 12/4. The Austin survives in longn term ownership in Bombay.  |
