Rewa is generally associated with white tiger. Little known that quite a number were taken in Bihar - Gaya and some in other districts of Bihar.

Maharaj Kumar Fateh singh -18 years old- with his tiger - turned out to be white. In the Tikari jungles with Mr. & Mrs Lee. Mr. Lee, late of Rolls Royce, kept oversight over the Tikari Maharaja's motorcars.



An interesting connection with this white tiger is the 16RH Cadillac. HH Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala was a guest at the Bhalwa shooting box of the Maharaja of Tikari when he saw the MK's white tiger.

HH had not seen a white tiger before, and admired the trophy. His host persuaded his young son to gift the tiger to HH. The Patiala Maharaja took it back to Patiala and in return sent the 16 cylinder right hand drive Cadillac to the young MK

Lots of cars have come in ever since imports have opened up, some brought by actual users and others by dealers for onward sales.

Tweety bird tells me this car was brought in and sold , the buyer being from Maharashtra, maybe Nagpur??

Actually Indian imports and other countries now importing these vehicles is the only thing saving these cars from getting scrapped in their home country. It is totally uneconomical to restore these cars in the US and the market value of the finished car in the US is far less than the amount of money poured into its restoration. I see so many cars in need of restoration coming up for sale on various sites but unfortunately no takers because they are not coupe or convertible. But nice to see lacunae on the Indian car scene being filled up by these beauties.
