Thanks a lot. It's W10 FWD model. Edited my earlier post as well..

Booked our Hyundai Creta Automatic, White on June 27th. Received a call today from the Manager here in Alcon Hyundai, Porvorim Goa that our car is on way from the factory. Should get delivery in a weeks time :)

Wanted to book Jazz CVT after selling my 105,000 run 6 year old i20 Petrol Magna, but decided to check new i20 Diesel. That's when I saw the Creta, which I felt was quite out of my budget. Then checked the Aspire and I almost booked, but then the SUV bug bit me with EcoSport. Renault showroom was nearby Ford, and TD'd Duster 85. Old car but rides like heaven. Now booked 85 RXL Option - even though market is gaga over Creta and S Cross. Expecting delivery in 3 days time

Finally all this waiting has come to an end. Going for a car which I wasn't even considering.

Can you elaborate on this please:

Is this discount because of the probable October launch of the facelift.

And any reason for not going for the facelift one?

Sure,I am getting the car for 10.6 over here in Delhi. I don't really know the prices prevailing as every dealer I approached had different prices. The dealer who was ripping me off had offered the car for 11.2 after negotiations which means that it's a cool 50k+ off.
Plus I'm also getting rear camera and sump guard for free ( 20k worth these).
The car is a couple of months old and the final icing on the cake is the colour, which is the one I wanted.
What's more, I don't think that the Ecoboost will be any different after the update. Don't like the new alloys either and th reduction in GC isn't okay with me. Also,i fear that the handling maybe compromised to improve the ride but could be wrong! Apologies for the typos,it is hard to type on my phone.

Had booked Creta AT just before launch in July. Got a call from dealer to expect the delivery around 20th of this month. clap:

Keeping my fingers crossed!

Congratulations on booking the Ertiga VXi ABS clap:. 30K discount itself is a very good figure. However I would suggest get quotations from 2-3 more dealers (Chowgule, My Car, Kothari Wheels etc), even if it means doing some legwork. Just flash your cheque book at each of these dealers and pitch them against each other. The dealer having the maximum inventory may come out with the best discount/ offer.

I don't want to spoil your party, but could not refrain from asking you this question stupid:. You are aware of the imminent Ertiga facelift launch (probably Sep end or early Oct), then why the hurry? The facelift is expected to come with a lot of goodies (the existing owners have been craving for), the split 3rd row seat being the prominent one. So if you can hold your horses for a month or so you can get an altogether new facelifted Ertiga. It all depends on how desperately you need a new car (or a new Ertiga for that matter)

Given all the discussions on safety, I was wondering if we, BHP'ians could set an example by mentioning the below details as well?

- Was the particular car/ variant selected for safety features?

- If safety features have been skipped, why? (Eg: Automatic transmission not available on the top most trim)

Hope it would help to make people more aware of safety while announcing their bookings, while also benefitting as a database of how many enthusiasts actually pay for safety, and if not- what are the top reasons to skip it?
