Form 20 is being generated today. So, in approximately how many days can we expect the delivery of the vehicle?

All payments have been made, and nothing is pending.

Dealership says 2-3 days from now, we can take delivery. Is that timeline OK?

I always wanted to get an XUV since it was launched. Never imagined I would be able to convince my wife though. But the revised tamed down looks caught her eye and here you go - got a W8 AWD Sunset Orange booked today (company lease). Expected delivery time is 4 weeks - end of July.

Somehow dealers are hesitant to provide discounts on this car. It doesnt looks like the uptake of this car is very high given its pricing and VW's not-so-friendly ASS.

OTR for the car is about 9.91 lakhs and with 0-dep and ext warranty it comes to 10.11 lakhs. After a bit of haggling I got it for 9.91 lakhs with 0-dep and ext warranty.

Hilton hadn't started accepting pre-bookings when I called them in mid June since the vehicle variants or other details were not available. I knew another dealer in Trivandrum had started pre-bookings just a couple of days back. I told Hilton about this and the sales executive said he would check with his manager and get back. He called back within minutes to confirm they can accept my booking. Booked the car the same day. It is booking #1 at the dealership so I hope I get the vehicle in the first lot right after launch.

Yeah, maybe I was too excited and messed the date. It should have read 30/Jun/2015. :)

Extended warranty cost me INR 13,xxx. One thing to note here is that I took quote from 2 VW dealers and for some reason their pricelist had slight difference (few hundreds) in extended warranty pricing.
