For an electric car, a business can claim 80% depreciation in the very first year which leads to decent tax savings and somewhat reduces the burden of the high price. Hope that helps.

Does it make sense to buy the accessories at the dealership or can it be done outside. Would the warranty be affected if these are done without wire cuts? There is a considerable difference in price.

Do ask the SA before approving installation of the accessories regarding warranty issues.

If the accessories installer you plan to visit does a clean job without splicing wires and uses couplers it would be easier and not tamper warranty.

If you want peace of mind then get the accessories installed at Maruti before delivery. All the headache accessories warranty will be taken care by them.

I am in a tough suituation now. Is the Celerio worth the extra amount or is K10 the better package ? Thanks !!

Yes Metallic one with the same break up.

In my case the car is going to be used singly 99% of the time, space is not a concern. Moreover after paying 80K extra over the Alto's price we get no great features in Celerio VXi variant.

Post adding stereo, seat covers etc etc the final price on Celerio was coming down to 5.8L IIRC which is a lakh costlier. I deadly couldn't justify the premium hence went ahead with the Alto.

Advantage of the Alto is performance is better in it as compared to Celerio(Read better/higher power to weight ratio = more fun).

Not yet, last week, Mumbai largest RTO (MH 02 series) covering Bandra to Borivali was split into Bandra to Jogeshwari (MH 02) and Goregaon to Dahisar (MH 47). Accordingly, the RTO was closed for 3 days plus there was a long weekend. So my choice registration number and vehicle registration is being concluded today as we speak, hopefully.

The likely delivery now is tomorrow 2nd half or Thursday 01st half. The price on road Mumbai, Andheri RTO Individual registration is approx INR 9.92 lacs
