Nice car, congrats. I am curious what made you choose this over the VW Polo GT TSi?

This is going to be our second car, one that will driven solely by me. The primary criteria is the maximum fun-to-drive quotient in a safe, under 10 Lakh car. While the DSG of the Polo GT TSi is certainly impressive, I am not yet ready to give up on the hands-on feel of a stick shift. I think my legs can handle a clutch for a few more years, not so sure in the future. Other than the transmission, in terms of engine responsiveness, steering and suspension, I find the Abarth more pleasing.

So, for me, the Abarth Punto appears to be the most affordable hatch offering unadulterated, old school driving pleasure. Our current sedan takes care of the practical needs of the family in reasonable comfort. When the time comes to replace it, it will in all probability be an automatic.

Although Dealer told me that delivery will be around mid of August, now they tell that Creta allotment has not been stopped by Hyundai for last 15 days.

Dealer say, it is due to new Verna production being given priority by Hyundai.

Did any one book Creta by third week of July and got the delivery ?

Congrats! What is the OTR and is it manual or auto tranny?

Sport variant is the base one, available only with manual transmission. 18.57 is OTR without accessories pack and a B2B insurance premium. But i just noticed this was calculated with 14% roadtax while i remember it being 12% for first vehicle, here in Hyd.
