. I guess thats the fisrt Vento booking I have come across on this forum. Have you test driven the Vento? How does it fare in comparison to the other Sedan in its category. I heard the price is eye catching. Do post about your ownership experience.

Also dont you think you are waiting too long for the car, a whole 45 days.

Thanks Ranger. As far as the PDI goes, of course. There were a few concerns with the alignment and a cracked front fog lamp but the dealer has agreed to take care of this. Took delivery on the 11th of August and was in the workshop on the 14th to get these sorted. Seems that the camber angle needs some more work and the fog lamp is not in stock. I did give a nice earful to the guys though and have made an official complaint as these things should really be taken care of at the dealer PDI stage. But more on that in the appropriate thread.

P.S - Is there anything of particular concern if it is billed on the last day of the financial year like you mentioned?

Thanks Ghodlur.No, I haven't test driven it yet. Infact, haven't seen one yet!!!

According to the dealer, the cars will start arriving by the end of August. Will then get a chance to see and TD it.

Price wise, it's about 55k cheaper than ANHC. I feel it could have been cheaper by another 20k atleast.

I'm hoping that the waiting period will not be more than 30 days. Fingers crossed.

Yes I booked mine the previous weekend. Booking amount is now 75k.

Congrats Sahil. I believe you also booked the Petrol(AT) model. Am eagerly waiting to TD the car. Was disappointed to learn from a few comments in this forum that AT is a bit sluggish. On Road price here in HYD is: 11.28 lacs.

Looks like you have more or less decided on this car. As for me, will take a call after the TD. If I too find it sluggish, you will very soon see a ANHC AT ownership report.

Congrats! Vento seems to be a nice car. Once you get a chance to test drive it, just compare the rear space with that of Polo. I think it should be more comfortable than the Polo at the rear.
