Have done a complete PDI before registration. Everything seems to be fine. The odometer reading is at 8kms. Have checked the car inside out and found it to be to my satisfaction.
Could have waited a bit longer, but I don't trust the sales people. When they say 5-6 days, it always gets extended and they blame the weather and road conditions for the delay.

One good thing is that I have got bridgestone tyres

I will still change them, atleast they would fetch a good price.

It's expensive but well worth it. Believe me, with European cars, the maintenance headache is best left to the manufacturer.

Thanks! That was the general idea- had to convince wife and self several times to choose this over the diesel. Looking forward to taking her on a long Mum-Delhi drive in December

Just came back after booking the Ritz Genus VXi at Vipul Motors, Noida. Just came back home and saw the package with the team bhp stickers waiting at my door... that's a good sign I'd say! I'm getting Rs. 7600 cash discount, 3rd year warranty at Rs. 2400 free, plus Rs. 5000 worth of MGA accessories free. I might also be eligible for Rs. 5000 worth of corporate discount, I'll have to check with my company for that. The final OTR price, Ghaziabad comes out to be 4,90,000. Will soon open a new thread with the delivery pics and short term owner review, when I get the delivery next week, as I think I might be the first Ritz Genus owner in here.

I used to be skeptic about true value, but got my wagon-r evaluated by them, the offer matches other personal offers I got, plus they'll credit 15000 as loyalty bonus if I'm buying another maruti. They said one already in transit (hard to believe), so I may get the PDI call in a week or 10 days. Will try to decode VIN.
