BMW Motorrad has launched the 2023 S 1000 RR in India. The superbike is available in three variants: standard, Pro and Pro M Sport, with prices starting at Rs 20.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2023 BMW S 1000 RR gets a few cosmetic updates with a revised aero package. The bike comes with aero winglets as standard. These are said to generate 10 kg of downforce.
The S 1000 RR also gets an updated engine. It is the same 999cc, inline 4-cylinder block, but it now produces 206.5 BHP @ 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm @ 11,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Riders can choose from four standard modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race. Additionally, Race Pro modes are available as an option. The bike also gets electronic rides aids like traction control, slide control function, hill start control, launch control, pit lane limiter, bidirectional quick-shifter and ABS with brake slide control.
