The teaser image reveals some details of the updated City, which include the new honeycomb grille and front bumper. The car will also get 16-inch alloy wheels and features such as rain-sensing wipers, ambient lighting, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

More importantly, the City facelift will be offered with ADAS, with safety aides like lane keep assist, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control auto high beam assist, among others. The car is also expected to get 6 airbags, a LaneWatch camera and disc brakes all around.

The 2023 Honda City will be available with an RDE-compliant 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, while the 1.5-litre diesel engine will be discontinued. On the other hand, the City e:HEV will be offered with the same 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain mated to an e-CVT.
