2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 launched at Rs 2.19 lakh

The Vitpilen 250 competes with the KTM 250 Duke.

Husqvarna has launched the updated Vitpilen 250 for the 2024 model year in India. The bike is priced at Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2024 Vitpilen 250 is based on a new frame and features a redesigned swingarm with an off-centre rear suspension. The bike is 100 mm longer, and ground clearance is up from 152 mm to 177 mm.

The rider and pillion seat height has been lowered from 842 mm and 907 mm to 820 mm and 877 mm, respectively. While the fuel tank capacity has increased to 13.5 litres, the kerb weight has dropped to 163.8 kg.

Husqvarna claims that the new frame, longer wheelbase and lower seat height have improved the bike’s cornering behaviour while maintaining stability. The reduced weight and new handlebars are said to improve steering response.

The Vitpilen 250 is powered by a 249.07cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder that makes 30.57 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 25 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike rides on a 43 mm WP USD front fork and an adjustable rear monoshock. It features disc brakes at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS.
