2024 Skoda Octavia globally unveiled

The 2024 Skoda Octavia will also make its way to India, bringing with it its 'RS' version as well.

Skoda has taken the wraps off the 2024 Octavia for the global markets. The new Skoda Octavia features a refreshed design, both on the inside and out. Globally, the car will be available in two body styles: Sedan & Estate.

In terms of design updates, the new Octavia comes with a redesigned front end with the signature 'butterfly' grille. It also gets new bumpers and revised LED headlights with two-element LED DRLs. Other updates include a newly designed set of alloy wheels, tweaked LED taillights, a rear bumper and a much sharper overall styling.

Inside, the 2024 Octavia gets a dual-tone cabin, similar to that on the new-gen Superb and Kodiaq models. The Octavia features a clean dashboard with a large 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, leather upholstery made from recycled fabrics, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging and ADAS suite; among a host of others.

Powering the 2024 Skoda Octavia is a bunch of engine options. This includes a 1.5-litre TSI, a 2.0-litre TSI and a 2.0-litre diesel; all of which will get both manual and automatic transmission options. Skoda also offers the Octavia hybrid, powered by a 1.5-litre TSI paired with a mild-hybrid setup.

The 2024 Skoda Octavia will also get a sportier version, in the form of the 'RS265', powered by the larger 2.0-litre TSI unit. This engine on the RS produces 265 BHP and 370 Nm and will be offered as standard with the 7-speed DSG gearbox.

The 2024 Skoda Octavia will also make its way to India, bringing with it its 'RS' version as well. The timeline for its launch in the Indian market though, is yet to be announced.
