Aravind Automobiles' future plans revealed

Aravind Automobiles plans to launch four electric luxury cars in the next 10 years.

Aravind Automobiles is expected to launch four new models in the Indian market in the next 10 years.

The entry-level model will be Marque A, codenamed Selene. The car will compete with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.

The Marque K will be a sedan that will compete with Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the BMW 5 Series. It has been codenamed Halcyon.

Aravind will also have a crossover, the Marque B, which will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC and the Jaguar F-Pace. The car has been codenamed Typhon.

The last vehicle to be launched will be a sedan called the Marque M that will compete with the Mercedes S-Class and the BMW 7 Series. The Marque M has been codenamed Prometheus and is expected to be launched in 2031.

All the cars will come in three editions - LP, ZR and Hx. The H series is again split into three variants - HE, HH and HM. The model name will have the marque code, the first two digits of the power output, suffixed by the edition.

Upon request, Aravind Automobiles would also build four units of the Prime Sedan, specifically for use by the Prime Minister / President of India. The car would not be available to leaders of other countries.

The company also plans to build the first Indian car to be tested at the Nurburgring.
