Rumour: BMW 6 Series GT facelift launch on April 8

Apart from exterior changes, the car is expected to get an updated infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

According to a media report, BMW plans to launch the 6 Series GT facelift on April 8, 2021.

The updated 6 Series GT gets a redesigned front fascia featuring new LED headlights with a re-profiled twin kidney grille in the centre. It also gets a reworked front bumper, while the tail lamp clusters get new internals.

On the inside, the 6 Series GT is expected to come with an upgraded infotainment system. A digital instrument cluster will most likely replace the analogue dials.

At present, in India, the 6 Series GT is offered with three engine options including a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol producing 255 BHP and 400 Nm, 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel with 188 BHP and 400 Nm and a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel that makes 261 BHP and 620 Nm.
