Audi Q8 spotted testing in India

The Audi Q8 SUV has been spotted testing in India for the first time. The Q8 is Audi's next flagship SUV and a test mule was recently spotted in Mumbai.

The Audi Q8 concept was first showcased at the 2017 Detroit motor show. The car borrows a lot of design cues from the concept. The most prominent feature carried forward from the concept is the single-unit, octagonal front grille. It is flanked by Audi's laser headlights with integrated LED DRLs and dynamic turn indicators on either side. The rear features LED tail lights, a raked windshield with a subtle spoiler on top. The test mule is seen sporting multi-spoke alloy wheels painted in black.

The Audi Q8 is a luxury SUV coupe which is likely to be offered in a 5-seat configuration. Although a more luxurious 4-seat layout might be offered as an option. Previous spy images have indicated that the Q8 will get a flat-faced dashboard with multiple touchscreens and a horizontal air-conditioning vent on top. The dashboard will have minimal buttons and toggles. It will also get a TFT instrument display in place of conventional dials. Audi is yet to announce the powertrains that will be offered on the Q8.
