Bajaj CT 100 re-introduced at Rs. 35,034

Bajaj Auto has re-introduced the CT 100 commuter motorcycle in India at a price of Rs. 35,034 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike had been discontinued in 2006.

The CT 100 gets new body graphics, a new exhaust and alloy wheels. It is available in two colours - ebony black and electron blue. The bike measures 1945 mm in length, 770 mm in width, 1072 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1235 mm and a ground clearance of 169 mm. It weighs 109 kg and has a 10.5-litre fuel tank.

The CT 100 is powered a 99.27 cc, 4-stroke, singe-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 8.1 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque @ 4500 rpm. It has a kick starter and a 4-speed transmission. The bike comes with a telescopic fork front suspension and Bajaj's SNS dual-shock rear suspension. Stopping power is provided by 110 mm drum brakes all round. The CT 100 rides on 17-inch wheels with a 2.75x17 and a 3.00x17 section tyre at the front and rear respectively.

With the CT 100, Bajaj will take on the Hero HF Dawn and HF Deluxe and the TVS Star Sport.
