Bajaj Pulsar NS200 new base variant spotted ahead of launch

The new base NS200 gets a conventional telescopic fork and single-channel ABS.

Bajaj is likely to launch a new base variant of the Pulsar NS200 soon. The bike was recently spotted at a dealership, revealing some interesting details.

Bajaj has swapped out the upside-down fork for a more conventional telescopic unit on the base variant. The bike also gets single-channel ABS.

The overall design of the bike, though, remains unchanged. The Pulsar NS200 features a sporty LED headlamp, an LCD instrument console and a 2-piece stepped seat.

The NS200 is based on a perimeter frame and is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 24 BHP @ 9,750 rpm and 19 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
