Big B's Garage | Amitabh Bachchan's Car Collection

The following list includes cars owned not just by Amitabh Bachchan, but also his son Abhishek Bachchan.

The most recognizable face (and voice) of Bollywood, clearly has a penchant for cars too. Amitabh Bachchan owns a wide variety of cars ranging from sports cars to luxury cars and even a few high-performance SUVs. His car collection shows that not only is he passionate about cars, but he loves to drive them too. He is often seen in the driver's seat of many of these cars, including the Mini Cooper and the Cayman.

The following list includes cars owned not just by Amitabh Bachchan, but also his son Abhishek Bachchan.

Range Rover Autobiography LWB

'Big B' has had a few Range Rovers in his garage and he even gifted an older one to his make-up artist's wife. This Autobiography LWB variant is the latest one in the garage.

Mercedes S-Class

As expected, the Bachchans have had various versions of the S-Class in their garage over time. This S450 variant is the latest one and was delivered just after the first lockdown in 2020. There is also a S350d in the garage.

Mercedes S600

Of all the S-Classes owned by the Bachchan family, this one needs a special mention. It is an S600 variant powered by a V12 engine.

Mini Cooper S

They say that every petrolhead should own or experience a Mini Cooper at least once in their lives. This is the second-generation of the modern Mini hatch that is known for its go kart-like handling.

Mercedes SL-Class

This car has hardly been seen out and about. Reports say that this is one of Amitabh's favourite Mercs and that this is the SL600 variant, which means it houses a V12 engine under that long hood.

Bentley Continental GT

Both Amitabh and Abhishek own a Continental GT. It's a relatively popular choice with other Bollywood celebrities too.

Maybach S-Class

The pinnacle of luxury, this is said to be the S500 variant. I do like the dark blue shade on the car.

Mercedes V-Class

The V-Class is fast becoming one of the most popular vans among the rich & famous thanks to its huge space, comfort and brand image.

Mercedes-AMG GL63

The top of the line, most powerful GL-Class. This V8-powered SUV is said to be owned by Abhishek Bachchan.

Toyota Land Cruiser

One of the most reliable off-roaders money can buy! You can see the stress-free joy of Toyota ownership on their faces. Unfortunately, the SUV has been discontinued in India.

Lexus LX570

The luxurious variant of the reliable Toyota Land Cruiser. It gets a 5.7L V8 engine and full-time four-wheel drive.

Toyota Innova Crysta

Big B got this car delivered as soon as the Innova Crysta facelift was launched. This is said to be the GX variant and who are we kidding, it is most probably used by his bodyguards.

Ford Perfect

Amitabh Bachchan was gifted this 1950s vintage Ford by a friend. He has often said that the Ford Prefect was his family's first car and the car he received is almost an exact replica of it.

Audi A8L

Abhishek got this customised white A8L back in 2012. It has a 4.2L V8 diesel engine.

Mercedes-Benz GLS

One of the recent acquisitions to the garage. This is the latest third-gen GLS which was launched in June 2020.

Lamborghini Murcielago

Abhishek Bachchan had a Lamborghini Murcielago finished in Pearl White and it rode on black alloy wheels. Unfortunately, after he sold it, the car met with an accident in Delhi and has since been abandoned.

Through a tweet, Big B mentioned that he had earlier owned other Lamborghinis like the Gallardo, Diablo and even the Countach (outside India). These have all been sold.

Rolls-Royce Phantom

Bachchan received this car as a gift! This Phantom has a golden Spirit of Ecstasy and plaque that says that it has been specially built for Amitabh Bachchan. The car has since been sold and it now shares a garage with a Ghost.

Porsche Cayman

Looks like the Bachchans love cars that are known for their handling characteristics. This is the 987 Cayman. The car was listed on sale in September 2020 with 3,700 km on the do.
