BMW M4 Competition launched at Rs. 1.44 crore

The M4 Competition is powered by a 3.0L 6-cylinder engine that develops 503 BHP and 650 Nm.

BMW has launched the M4 Competition in India at a price of Rs 1,43,90,000 (ex-showroom).

The second-generation BMW M4 made its global debut last year. The car features the controversial large kidney grille at the front, a carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) roof, slim LED taillights and quad exhausts at the rear.

The interior of the second-gen M4 is based on the G22 4 Series. It features a large touchscreen infotainment system in the centre and a digital instrument cluster. The car comes equipped with M sport seats with Merino leather upholstery, M seat belts and carbon fibre interior trim. Additionally, customers can also spec their cars with Active seat ventilation, M Racetrack package, M Carbon Exterior package, M Drive professional and M double-spoke wheels in polished Orbit Grey and Bicolor black.

At the heart of the M4 Competition is a 3.0-litre, straight-6 engine that produces 503 BHP @ 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm @ 2,750-5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. BMW claims a 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds.

The M4 comes with multiple engine and chassis settings along with Adaptive M-specific suspension, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Automatic Stability Control (ASC), M Dynamic Mode (MDM), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dry Braking function and Active M Differential.
