Fiat Avventura caught testing, this time with full body gear

Fiat displayed the Punto-based Avventura concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in February. A couple of months back, we had reported that the company has started testing the car in India. Now, a few more test mules of the car have been spotted.

The Avventura test mule seen earlier did not have a lot of the kit that the concept carried. This time however, the complete body gear seems to have been added.

There are many cosmetic differences between the Punto and the Avventura. The front of the latter features redesigned headlamps, bumper and grille. On the sides there is a black plastic cladding, while at the rear we see the spare tyre mounted on the hatch and restyled tail lamps and bumper. Other additions include roof rails and larger alloy wheels. The Avventura also has more ground clearance than the Punto.

It is not clear which engines Fiat will be used to power the crossover. Engine options will be disclosed during the time of the car's launch, later this year.
