First batch of BYD e6 electric MPVs delivered in India

The BYD e6 electric MPV has a maximum range of 520 km (WLTC cycle).

China-based BYD has delivered the first batch of 30 e6 MPVs in India.

The BYD e6 was launched in November 2021. At present, the EV is available only for the B2B segment. The carmaker has appointed 6 dealers across 8 cities.

The e6 uses a 71.7 kWh Blade Battery that is said to offer a maximum range of 520 km (WLTC cycle). The battery powers a 70 kWh electric motor that has a torque rating of 180 Nm. The car can reach a top speed of 130 km/h.

The e6 MPV supports AC and DC fast charging. The company claims that the battery can be recharged from 30% to 80% within 35 minutes using a DC fast charger.

The e6 comes with features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity, 6-way adjustable driver and front passenger seats and leather upholstery.
