Ford recalls Freestyle, Figo, Aspire for wiring harness issue

Ford has recalled the Freestyle, Figo and Aspire for a wiring harness issue. The carmaker will be inspecting the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) wiring harness installation on these cars.

According to Ford, all vehicles manufactured at Ford's Sanand plant between September 2017 and April 2019 are affected. That said, the carmaker hasn't provided the exact number of cars that have been recalled.

Ford has said that owners of affected vehicles will be informed and requested to get their cars inspected at the nearest Ford dealership.
