Here's what the Maruti Fronx Sigma variant looks like

The Maruti Fronx is available in five variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha.

Maruti Suzuki debuted two new models at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2023. Apart from the 5-door Jimny, which caught a lot of eyeballs, Maruti also showcased the Fronx compact SUV.

Maruti Suzuki has already started accepting pre-bookings for the Fronx. The car is available in five variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. You may have seen the top-spec Fronx at the Auto Expo. Here’s what the base 'Sigma' variant looks like.

The base variant of the Fronx comes equipped with steel wheels, black door handles and black ORVMs. Inside, the car gets a basic dashboard with a twin-dial instrument cluster, power windows and automatic climate control. Features such as a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and electric ORVMs are available from the Delta trim onwards.

The Maruti Fronx is based on the Heartect platform. It is available with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 99 BHP and 147 Nm and a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 89 BHP and 113 Nm. Customers will get a choice of a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic and an AMT.
