Jeep Wrangler prices hiked by up to Rs 2 lakh

The Wrangler Rubicon now costs Rs 66.65 lakh ( ex-showroom).

Jeep India has increased the prices of the Wrangler by up to Rs 2 lakh.

In India, the Wrangler is available in two variants: Ultimate and Rubicon. Following the latest price hike, these are now priced at Rs 62.65 lakh and Rs 66.65 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The Wrangler is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 264 BHP @ 5,250 rpm and 400 Nm @ 3,000 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel drive system.

The Rubicon uses the same engine and gearbox combination but is a more rugged version of the standard SUV.

The Wrangler isn’t Jeep’s only premium offering in India. The American carmaker’s product portfolio also includes the Grand Cherokee, which is priced at Rs 80.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
