Maruti eVX electric SUV prototype shows off new details

The Maruti eVX is likely to be offered with two battery options with up to 550 km of range.

The Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV has been spotted testing once again. This time we will talk about a couple of new details that have emerged from the spy images.

The prototype of the Maruti eVX is still wrapped in heavy camouflage, but closer inspection reveals a charging port mounted on the front fender and a rear door handle mounted on the C-pillar.

The eVX will also be equipped with ADAS tech. The test car has cameras mounted on the front and underneath the ORVMs. There’s also a camera mounted just behind the IRVM. Inside, the eVX is likely to get a large free-standing central touchscreen.

The eVX will be based on a skateboard platform and is likely to be offered with two battery options and either a single or dual-motor configuration. Reports suggest that it might offer a range of up to 550 km.
