MG Gloster 7-seater Savvy trim launched at Rs. 37.28 lakh

The Gloster rivals the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.

MG has launched a new 7-seater Savvy variant of the Gloster. It is priced at Rs. 37.28 lakh (ex-showroom).

'Savvy' is the top-of-the-line variant of the Gloster. Until recently, it was only available in a 6-seat configuration. In the new 7-seater version, the captain seats in the second-row have been replaced with a conventional bench seat.

The Savvy variant comes loaded with features including Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that offer Level 1 autonomous driving capability. The SUV comes with adaptive cruise control, automatic parking assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and blind-spot detection.

On the inside, the Gloster gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 3-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and i-SMART connected car features.

The Gloster Savvy is powered by a 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel unit that is rated at 215 BHP and 480 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and a shift-on-fly 4WD system with an electro-mechanical differential lock.
