Motoziel-Edelweiss JV to offer bike + tour packages

Motorcycle touring is a growing industry in India. With an aim to cap the untapped potential of this growing market, motorcycle touring company, Edelweiss Bike Travel has joined hands with an Indian bike tour-based startup - Motoziel, to form a new Joint Venture, Motoziel Edelweiss Pvt. Ltd.

This new JV has its headquarters in Gurgaon, and aims to provide bike touring packages to domestic as well as international destinations. The company will be offering bikes, hotels, food and even expert guidance to its customers during the tour. Customers can opt from a wide range of bikes from various manufacturers like Harley Davidson, Ducati, Triumph, BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Royal Enfield and Kawasaki.

In addition to various trips in India, the new JV will also be offering packages to 10 countries within the Indian sub-continent, as well as across the world. A wide range of trips will be offered, including weekend getaways to long rides, ranging from a few hours long to 14 nights.

Indian trips will mainly revolve around popular tourism-friendly areas in Rajasthan, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, North East and South India. The company has made it clear that it would initially be focusing on North and North-east regions, while south Indian trips will begin from a later date.
