Range Rover SUV has the highest loyalty rate in 2023, says study

The high loyalty rate of the Range Rover helped boost Land Rover's brand loyalty.

According to a new study by S&P Global Mobility, the new Range Rover has the highest loyalty rate among its customers.

The luxury SUV beat the likes of the Ford F-Series & Tesla Model Y with a 41.1% loyalty rate through April - the highest among vehicles with more than 350 return-to-market households. The Ford F-Series came in a close second with a 41.0% loyalty rate while the Model Y had 40%. The loyalty rate of all three vehicles was well above the industry average, which stood at 25.1%.

The high loyalty rate of the Range Rover helped boost Land Rover's brand loyalty to 38.9% - a 9.5% increase over the previous year. This though falters in comparison to Tesla, which has a brand loyalty rate of 68%.

The high loyalty rate is due to the redesigned iteration of the Range Rover SUV, whose deliveries started last year. The new version of the SUV seems to have become a hit, especially among current owners, says the study.
