Renault Captur to be unveiled on September 21, 2017

Renault India will unveil the new Captur premium SUV on September 21, 2017. The official pricing and variant details will be announced later.

Last month Renault confirmed the Captur for India and released a few teaser images and videos

The India-spec Captur will be based on the Duster's B0 platform unlike its European sibling which shares its platform with the Clio hatchback. It will get LED headlights with integrated DRLs and LED tail lights. Spy images of the Captur spotted in India have indicated that the SUV might get an interior with red accented air-conditioning vents and center console. It will likely be offered with a touchscreen infotainment system as well.

Some media reports suggest that the Captur would be offered with a 7-seat layout. It is likely to use a 1.6-litre petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel. While the entry-level variants would be front-wheel drive, an all-wheel drive version is also being rumoured.
