REPSOL synthetic engine oil launched in India

REPSOL's synthetic Passenger Car Motor Oils (PCMO) has been launched in India, marking the brand's debut in the country's passenger car lubricant space. REPSOL has a license agreement with GP Petroleums Ltd, which gives latter the authority to manufacture and market REPSOL brand of lubricants in India. GP Petroleums is a part of UAE-based Gulf Petrochem Group.

The brand REPSOL was launched in India in April this year. GP Petroleums had earlier introduced Repsol’s Motor Cycle Oil (MCO) in the country. Now the engine oil maker has launched two products for the car segment - ‘Repsol Elite NEO XTI 5W-40’ and ‘Repsol Elite NEO 5W-30’.

CEO of GP Petroleums, Mr. Hari Prakash, has also announced that the company is planning to launch Repsol's complete range of synthetic engine oils in India, for motorcycles, cars, as well as commercial vehicles.
