Royal Enfield has revealed the Classic 650 Twin at EICMA 2024. This is the sixth motorcycle based on the brand’s 650cc platform.

The Classic 650 Twin looks similar to the Classic 350. It is based on a steel tubular spine frame. It has a ground clearance of 154 mm and weighs 243 kg.

The Classic 650 Twin has a circular headlamp with position lights on either side, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a circular taillight, and dual peashooter exhausts. The analogue instrument console has also been carried over from the Classic 350.

The Classic 650 Twin is powered by the familiar 648cc, parallel-twin engine. This unit produces 46.4 BHP @ 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm @ 5,650 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via an assist and slipper clutch.

The Classic 650 Twin is equipped with a Showa front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear, offering 120 mm and 90 mm of travel, respectively. Disc brakes have been provided at both ends and the bike rides on wire-spoke wheels with 19 inches in the front and 18 inches in the back.
