Royal Enfield Scram 411 launched at Rs. 2.03 lakh

The Scram 411 is based on the Harris Performance chassis and the LS-410 engine platform, which is shared with the Himalayan.

Royal Enfield has announced the launch of a new scrambler motorcycle, called the Scram 411. The new model is available in three variants with prices starting at Rs. 2,03,085 (ex-showroom).

The Scram 411 is based on the Harris Performance chassis and the LS-410 engine platform, which is shared with the Himalayan. But it gets a smaller 19-inch spoked wheel at the front.

The styling of the Scram 411 is similar to the Himalayan featuring a round headlamp with a painted shroud, a 15-litre fuel tank, wide handlebars and an upswept exhaust. It comes with a single-piece seat and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

Powering the Scram 411 is a 411cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 24.3 BHP @ 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm @ 4,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The bike has 41 mm telescopic forks at the front offering 190 mm of travel and a rear mono-shock. The brake setup consists of a single 300 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc brake at the rear.
