Thanks to BHPian shan2129 for bringing this to our notice.

Chennai-based Royal Enfield has adopted a new logo which will be used on all its motorcycles henceforth. The company claims that the new logo is vibrant and contemporary, but holds on to its British motorcycling roots.

Along with the logo, Royal Enfield has changed its monogram and crest and brought out a new key design for its bikes. The logo of each of the company's product has been altered as well. The company intends to increase the appeal of its bikes with these changes.

Royal Enfield is one of the world's oldest bike manufacturers and has a huge following in India. It is a part of Eicher Motors Ltd., which has planned to invest Rs. 600 crore over a period of two years for increasing the company's annual production capacity and aid the development of global product platforms. It is also developing a new 400 cc, single-cylinder motorcycle.
