According to a media report, Husqvarna is likely to launch the all-new Svartpilen 401 in India in January 2024. It is said that some dealerships have even started accepting pre-bookings for a token amount of Rs 5,000.
The new Svartpilen 401 is based on the next-gen KTM Duke 390. It will use the same 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the KTM. This unit puts out 45 BHP and 39 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
The Svartpilen 401 has a unique design featuring a new split seat, a large grab rail and an underbelly exhaust. It is equipped with an upside-down front fork and a gullwing swingarm with an offset monoshock at the rear.
In terms of features, the Svartpilen 401 is likely to get an LED headlamp and tail light, a digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity and riding modes.
