Rumour: Mahindra Scorpio facelift launch on Nov 14, 2017

The upcoming facelifted version of the Mahindra Scorpio was recently spotted completely undisguised, which indicates that the launch of the vehicle is nearing. Now, a media report suggests that the SUV is expected to be launched on November 14, 2017.

The spy images suggest that the Scorpio facelift will get a new, 7-slat grille and a slightly updated bumper at the front. The SUV gets redesigned 5-spoke alloy wheels and ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators. The rear features a new tailgate, with a chrome number plate garnish. Inside, the Scorpio facelift is likely to get an updated touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

There have been reports that the updated Scorpio will get a re-tuned version of the 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine. The unit is expected to produce 138 BHP, which is 20 BHP more than the current version and is likely to be offered with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions.
