Rumour: Tata to relaunch Harrier XTA & XTA+ variants

Currently, the Tata Safari is also available in three automatic variants only.

Today, if you wish to buy a Tata Harrier automatic, your only options are either the top-spec XZA and XZA+ variants or the low-end XMA trim. But soon, Tata Motors is rumoured to announce the mid-range XTA and XTA+ variants.

According to BHPian yd_gli, Tata has started shipping out the Harrier XTA and XTA+ variants from this month onwards. The prices for the new trims are likely to be out in a few days.

Last month, Tata introduced the Harrier Dark with prices starting at Rs. 18.04 lakh (ex-showroom). The Dark edition is offered in three variants - XT+, XZ+ and XZA+.

The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
